Installing a new blogger template is a simple process. The new installation will give your blog a face lift and will make it visually attractive. New templates can easily be downloaded from various sites. Most sites offer the downloads for free, so a simple internet search should return a number of sites that offer free downloads.
Once you have chosen your blogger template, you will need to download and save it. You will then need to sign into your Blogger website. This will create a backup copy of your original dashboard.

Once again, click on the Edit HTML option in the dashboard. Choose the Expand Widget Templates option. Te template will now reload with a check in the box beside it. You will now need to remove that old code and replace it with the new one from your blogger template.
Before saving any final changes, make sure to preview the page. Sometimes graphics will not upload correctly when they are added to an existing template. By performing a review, you will ensure that everything is in its place. It is still possible to make some editing changes before you complete the process.
Once you are satisfied with all changes to the template, you can now save the completed template. It is now safe to upload the newly designed template to your blog.
